Glasgow v Lanarkshire Trophy
History and Statistics
Return
The game was instituted in the year 1896, and the present Trophy is the original one as presented by Sir John Watson,
Baronet of Earnock (Hamilton).   It was won by Earnock Bowling Club in the year 1919, after the first World War.

The years the Trophy was not played for were as follows;
1915 - 1918 - First World War
1939 - 1945 - Second World War
The game played in 1961 was abandoned, due probably to inclement weather.
